Twenty years ago, as part of the Company Programmes Network Limited, now Merchants SA (Pty) Limited, Claire Kamdem and Catherine Sandner were the first to introduce the concept of outsourcing business and strategic development for Service and Communications agencies. They then created NBA in 1993 to support directors in canvassing and business development.
After a Master degree in Management at HEC, she worked for about 10 years in various strategic consulting firms. At Programmes, she created the establishment of a connection between advertisers and communication agencies through thematic meetings.
In 1993 along with Catherine Sandner, she created New Business Access, the first company specialised in business development for Communications agencies and Consulting firms. New Business Access became New Business Associates in 2011.
Catherine Sandner studied Information and Communication. As part of the Company Programmes, she implemented innovative canvassing methods and canvassing marketing tools. Particularly, she set up training programmes about sales strategies, negotiation, presentation, oral communication.
As part of New Business Associates, she puts theses methods together for directors of Communications agencies’ use. They get real, pro- active strategic support to strengthen their business development, leaving them free to focus on what they love to do and manage their core business.
